We got takeout and shared it at home with friends. All of the dishes were beautifully presented, so they still looked amazing even after we transferred them onto our own plates. We had such a wonderful evening with delicious food. The lava roll was the most popular dish👍

We had a wonderful experience here:) The sashimi was especially fresh and high quality. Most of the dishes were amazing!!! The staff were very friendly, and the atmosphere was cozy, clean, and welcoming. We were so happy to enjoy a great meal and spend such a lovely time with friends here. Highly recommended!

We found this restaurant the day before leaving Calgary and really enjoyed our meal! The chicken poke was sooo delicious, and all the other dishes were great too. There were just two of us, and we definitely ordered way too much 😆 — but we still finished everything! We arrived about an hour before closing, and people kept coming in. I hope more and more people discover this place and enjoy the food as much as we did!

What an amazing discovery during our brief stay in Calgary! We randomly stopped at Maru Sushi and Don and it turned out to be one of the highlights of our trip. From the moment we walked in, the staff made us feel incredibly welcome. They were friendly, attentive, and genuinely helpful. But the real star of the show was the sushi, absolutely delicious and the freshest we’ve ever had! You can truly taste the quality and care that goes into every dish. If you’re in Calgary, don’t miss this gem. We’re already planning to make it a must-visit stop whenever we’re back in the city. Highly recommend! Thank you to the wonderful team at Maru Sushi and Don for such a memorable experience!
