Great way to warm up on a winter day! I love the calming yet strengthening classes and the clean aesthetic atmosphere. Definitely leaves me feeling refreshed and like I did something for myself.

I moved to town four months ago and needed a yoga studio to keep my practice going. Midtown Yoga was close to home, so I signed up for their trial. The first two weeks were humbling. The classes were much harder than anything I had done before, and my body filed several complaints. But once I adjusted, I got completely hooked. A few things to know before you commit: 1. Most classes are hot yoga and geared toward students who already know their way around a mat. If you’re a total beginner, this place might feel like being dropped into the deep end, but with more sweat. 2. The schedule has a mix of classes, but hot flow and hot strength rule the kingdom. 3. Hot strength is fantastic if you want cardio and weight training at 85 F. Think gym session, but inside a toaster oven. 4. The teachers are warm, skilled, and encouraging. Just don’t expect hands-on adjustments. If your pose is crooked, they will lovingly let you discover that on your own. 5. The studio has two practice rooms and simple dressing areas. Minimalist in the intentional way, not the “we forgot to decorate” way. 6. They provide towels and offer mats if you need one, though regulars should bring their own. In summary, Midtown Yoga is perfect if you want a challenging practice, fast progress, and classes that make you sweat enough to question your life choices in the best possible way. The heat helps with flexibility, strength, and feeling like you have accomplished something heroic before 9 a.m.

I’ve been going to Midtown Yoga for going 4 years now. It’s my favorite place, the classes ranges from challenging to calming yoga classes. The hot environment is so good to sweat in especially on winter season. The staffs are very friendly and accommodating. The place is clean and well-maintained.

I’ve been practicing here for almost five years and always miss the community and practice when I travel out of town. It’s become a pleasurable piece of health and wellness. I’m grateful for many aspects of Midtown. I love that I can bring friends the first time for free! I love the amount of classes available. I love the variety of classes and yoga guides available. Avery is new, but the slow speed in which she delivers her guidance is my favorite. The flow Julia puts together are unique, fun, and challenging. Kelly’s my unwind is magical and she might have super human intuitive about the humans practicing with her and their needs at that moment. I can’t say enough good things about the team that runs midtown. Thanks guy and gals!

I love Midtown! Segovia is an incredible instructor—she always brings amazing energy to class and knows how to push you just the right amount so you leave feeling stronger and accomplished. Her classes are both challenging and motivating, and she creates such a positive atmosphere that makes you want to keep coming back. If you’re looking for a great workout and inspiring guidance, I can’t recommend her enough!
