Solstice is such a lovely community yoga space. It’s the first yoga studio I’ve been inspired to attend with any consistency. Considering the many, many options of yoga studios in Durham I think the atmosphere that Solstice offers is unique. You feel like you’re walking into a community space instead of a corporatized yoga “gym”. I also value seeing diversity among the teachers, attendees, and owners. And to those of you who may have been put off of hot yoga previously, I have found their infrared heating system to be incredibly pleasant. My body gets nice and warm allowing me to safely stretch, but I can breathe easily. If you’re considering giving them a try I HIGHLY recommend and I don’t give out positive reviews and recommendations half heartedly!

Solstice Yoga is led by thoughtful professionals and offers high-quality instruction through a variety of classes. The studio is bright, warm, welcoming, and calming. A place to deepen practice and build community & connection. Monthly membership is an excellent value. Deeply grateful for Solstice!

I started going to Solstice yoga a week ago and have been back everyday since! The heated classes are warm welcome, especially during these cold winter months!

Solstice is one of a the few yoga studios left that still holds the core foundations of yoga in their classes and I really appreciate that! I alps LOVE how much Naomi is a part of the studio and still teaches classes, I feel like its not often that the owner is at the studio so much. Can't recommend this place enough!

Awesome, locally-owned yoga studio! Beautiful space with lots of natural light. I love that most of the classes, even the physically rigorous ones, are more focused on one’s internal and mental/emotional experience— no mirrors, no body competition, etc. Super kind, hard-working, and dedicated owner 💜

Love this studio and all the instructors I've had the honor of learning from. Each teacher offers their own style and are very helpful and accommodating for injury, skill level, etc. It's been such a joy getting back into yoga at Solstice.
