I’ve never been a "yoga person", but Virge Yoga has completely changed that for me. Yoga has become such a grounding and genuinely enjoyable addition to my fitness routine. I always leave feeling calmer, centered, and really glad I showed up. One thing I really appreciate is how much extra attention the instructors give to safety and proper movement. They’re thoughtful about cueing, offering modifications, and helping you build up to more challenging poses in a way that feels supportive rather than intimidating. The variety of classes differing in style and level truly caters to everyone who walks through those doors. The pricing is very fair, and the late cancel policy is incredibly generous, which makes staying consistent feel doable and stress-free. And the little extras really elevate the experience — being able to grab a cold smoothie after a hot class or a warm, comforting drink on a cold day is such a nice touch. From the moment you walk in, you’re greeted warmly, and by the time you leave, you feel zen, happy, and recharged. Great instructors, great community, great vibes. I can’t recommend it enough. 🧘♀️✨

Virge is the best. I truly cannot express how amazing this place is. The staff is so welcoming/ personable and the work outs are challenging but fun. If you’re looking for a sign to check it out, this is it. I’m in the best shape of my life (even better than orange theory) and I genuinely look forward to seeing the staff each day. It’s a real community and the work outs are so creative. The smoothies are also better than any other smoothie shop in town??? Huge shoutout to Emma for her joyous personality and amazing emails, Reymound for his creative flows and supportive energy, Kate for her energy, kindness, and cardio sequences, and Jodi for her leadership/ vision/ and KILLER tricep workouts. Can’t beat virge.

Virge is everything you could want in a fitness studio and more. Coming from only doing solo workouts, they welcomed me in with open arms and I felt like I’d finally found the fitness community I’ve always been looking for. Top that off with challenging yet fun classes and I’m having more fun than ever exercising! 10/10 can’t recommend them enough!! Oh and did I mention all the fun community events, giveaways, and reasonably priced membership? Run, don’t walk to Virge.

Virge has quickly become a second home to me. In addition the truly incredible and intentional teachers cultivating creative, challenging and healing yoga, what I love most about Virge is its spirit of inclusivity. It truly feels like a space for everyone. It’s a true community-centered place in the heart of downtown Durham.

I absolute love going to Virge! I was introduced by a friend and haven’t looked back. Jodi and her whole team are extremely welcoming and have made me feel comfortable and at home. I love the Sculpt classes, which are a tough mix of yoga, cardio and strength training - especially the Wednesday Broga class, which draws a few more of us guys in! The studio is very nice, they rent out high quality mats, the lighting makes for a great aesthetic, and hey I love the after class lavender towels 😊 The pricing is also very reasonable given the prime downtown location. Very highly recommended!
