What an amazing experience at this gym! Koji-san, the main instructor, has created an optimal space for learning, he is an exceptional teacher and a culture-setter for a beautiful, healthy, thriving and welcoming community. We were just a couple of out-of-town drop-ins wanting to get a roll in, and Koji-san helped to reignite our passion for this incredible sport! This gym is a wonderful place to be introduced to BJJ in a safe and enjoyable environment, or to perfect your art and even compete!

Great gym with a really welcoming vibe. I’ve only been there a short time but the classes have felt super accessible from the start while still being challenging enough to grow at your own pace. It’s a great community and a solid place to learn whether you wanna just practice in a light fun environment or push yourself to develop your skills. The attention to safety definitely was something I appreciated a lot when I found this gym. I definitely recommend giving it a try!

I took a private lesson of the head instructor and Intro1 class. The head instructor/owner taught me not only techniques but also how great and enjoyable jiujitsu is. The instructors of Intro class are awesome.they are kind and friendly, and their detailed explanation of techniques is easy to understand to me. Mile End Jiujitsu Club has a wonderful environment that makes us smile.
