Monroe Personnel Svc LLC & Temptime

I run a Real Estate Brokerage in San Francisco and have been using Monroe Personnel for about 10 years. I would not think of hiring anyone else for my office temp needs. Debra and her company are complete professionals. The workers she sends are always on time, friendly and have a good attitude. Debra is so easy to work with and I would recommend her to anyone needing to fill employment needs.

Monroe has done something special for me. After leaving a cutthroat career and with unemployment payments running out, I still was not ready for a permanent job. It is a real small shop, but Monroe found me several short gigs (1-30 days), though I had to stay financially prepared since they were not constant. Monroe also used my feedback from each gig to better shape each experience it gave me. Monroe has always treated me with dignity...something often lost in work environments. I got to see different offices, altruistic events, and otherwise inaccessible industries. If I did not like something about a gig---6:00am start, long commute, crazy person, etc.---knowing it is just temporary made all the difference. The best part is that I proved to myself I can do great work and fully satisfy managers. I can finish each gig gracefully, and my overall confidence has been allowed to return. Not to mention some gigs ask Monroe if I can return! Temp work is surprisingly underrated, even if you are in transition. You do not do it to get rich. Yet you can do it for the positive exposure and structure it gives you. Since Monroe is my best source of that, I hope to work through them until I can't.

Since registering with and working temp assignments through Monroe Personnel since late last fall (2013), Monroe has been nothing short of excellent in locating top-notch, career-oriented short and long-term temp positions for me as I transition careers. I'm currently working for a well-respected San Francisco organization whose employees are quite simply the smartest, classiest, and most professional I've ever worked with - and that means a heck of a lot to me!
