What a great music store! I get my music equipment there and my guitars set up there too. My band mates go there too! Jimmy is always there very helpful and a super nice guy! Prices are way better than the national chains and smaller corner music stores. I recommend Music Lovers Shoppe!

Jimmy and the team at Music Lovers Shoppe are incredible! From the moment you walk in, you’re greeted with that warm, “Cheers-like” feeling — like you’re a longtime regular, even if it’s your first visit. Jimmy and his staff truly listen, pay attention to each customer’s needs, and make sure you leave with exactly what you’re looking for (and nothing you don’t). It’s refreshing to support a small, local shop that delivers genuine care and amazing customer service, rather than feeling like just another number at a big-box store or lost in the world of anonymous online shopping. Music Lovers Shoppe is a fantastic music shop with knowledgeable, kind instructors. Jimmy helped my son develop a real love for guitar and taught him actual music, not just basics. Professional, encouraging, and great with kids. Highly recommend.

My wife and daughter drove 30 minutes to pickup a package of baritone saxophone reeds. We needed size 2.0 strength. The store owner, Jimmy, was on speakerphone with the store associate (in the background). The store owner abruptly entered the conversion and adamantly insisted that my daughter needed 2.5 strength reeds and an additional protective case for those reeds (even though reeds are sold with a protective sleeve on each of them). The cost for 3 reeds was approximately $25, not including the reed protective case. The store owner again insisted on a 2.5 strength reed, even though they had the 2.0 reeds that were needed in stock. My wife and daughter were so taken aback by his verbal chastising that they left the store without purchasing anything. To be honest, my wife felt as though the higher strength reeds and reed protective case were a poor attempt at a money grab or a higher bill of sale. They ended going to Akron Music Store to purchase the reeds that were needed, for $13.87. The staff were both friendly and not pushy, plus they actually allowed my wife and daughter to purchase what they came into the shop for, which were priced 55% less than the Music Lover’s Shoppe. As a bonus, the 2.0 reeds worked perfect! Our family will NOT be using the Music Lover’s Shoppe in the future. Perhaps, the owner would benefit from remembering “the customer is always right.”

I stumbled into the Music Lovers Shoppe on my way to there bigger competitor ... I met Jimmie at the door and it was like walking into one of my band mates flats I instantly felt comfortable and at ease Jimmie took the time to show me what I need and showed me how to operate and perform on the equipment ... It was privet peacefully and really enjoyable, Jimmie is what makes that location strong ... I'll never go anywhere else I been to them all and none of the have Jimmie. Every thing I bought from there Jimmie made sure it was right and going to help me perform at my best . Thanks Music Lovers Shoppe you really are the best .... I'm going back tomorrow.
