Tamar is a great trainer. My wife and I have done couples workouts with Tamar for the last year. We both feel stronger and more energetic from before we started. She watches to correct our form, and offers alternative options when necessary. The workouts are always in different styles and different exercises which keeps it interesting. Cardio and stretching are always part of the routine as well. Tamar is also very knowledgeable about the body and can answer questions about why exercises are done a certain way, which I really appreciate. She's also flexible with scheduling, there's reserved parking spots, you can park your bike inside, and the location is so convenient.
I could not be happier with my decision to sign up for personal training with Tamar. She cares about the people she trains... and I love when she encourages me during workouts by calling me "Athlete"! It makes me feel strong! I signed up for her 2x/week personal training and it's affordable and I'm loving finally doing personalized workouts with a trainer. Signing up for personal training, I knew that for my own mental health after two years of a pandemic, I didn't want to start stepping on a scale, or tracking calories, or measuring body fat. I didn't want to look at any numbers. I just wanted to move again... and ENJOY moving again. Tamar was all for it and she has totally supported me in what I need from our personal training sessions. (By the way, I totally understand that some people will want to talk about food and step on a scale, so keep in mind that Tamar is flexible in how she trains her clients.) Overall, it feels good to sweat, and move, and have fun while doing it! She always has good music playing, she makes me feel comfortable when I just need to be goofy at the gym and have a good time, and she agrees to my constant requests for dance breaks in the middle of our tough circuits! (She also lets me bring in my little dog to hang out while I'm working out... dog-friendly gym, for the win!!!) This review is mostly for Tamar. I have been training with her off and on for 15 years. She was the one to get me into fitness and I will still go to her for questions. Her workouts are fun and man do they kick your bootie. I defiantly saw results! You can always count on her to be honest, shes not just saying anything to get you to sign with her. What you see is who she really is. Tamar is also hands down the best yoga instructor I have found. She is the perfect blending of energy and strengthening. I recommend all by friends to go to her!
