I’m a busy middle-aged man working long hours, with regular domestic and international travel. Realistically, that means the only time I can train is early in the morning — 6:30 am at the latest. I do my best to stay in shape, but age and gravity inevitably start to have their say. I’d never set foot in a gym before, partly because I’ve always preferred exercising outdoors. He’s responsive to my schedule and limitations, and he answers every question thoroughly, clearly knowing his craft. The sessions are challenging but enjoyable, they fly by, and I genuinely feel better for them. My only complaint is that Shannon can’t count properly: when he says ten reps, he somehow means fifteen.
