My pup OB1 and I absolutely love our kindergarten class! It's so much fun watching the pups enjoy two short recesses of five to ten minutes each, where they can socialize and then eagerly dive back into learning. Susan does a wonderful job pairing each pup with others that match their size and energy level, which really puts me at ease. Also, the price was very reasonable.
I enrolled my older dog in Basic Manners (targeted to 6mo+) for enrichment as well as professional training, and it was very rewarding - Susan was great to work with. She was knowledgeable and invested in each dog's unique needs, impressive for a group class! I appreciated the force-free approach. Great classes and puppy day camp! Highly recommend for any new dog owner looking for safe opportunities to socialize their puppy in a small group size. I learned so much from Susie and her team and my dog had fun.
We had an awesome experience at Paws4training! Susan is great, positive, knowledgeable and very experienced with puppies! We learned so much, most importantly how to effectively get your puppy's attention, how to set your pup up for success and how to train for what you want proactively rather than reacting to the unwanted behavior after it occurs. We also learned how to listen and watch for our puppies cues that show how he's feeling in any given moment. I feel like the bond between my puppy and I has become even stronger using the positive training model techniques and we are effectively reshaping unwanted behaviors or avoiding them all together, it's amazing! Thank you, Susan!!
Loved puppy kindergarten for our standard size labradoodle! Also did puppy day care which helped manage his shyness and get him socialized in a safe setting. Now in middle school class and it’s helping our dog (and us) continue with the progress made. Highly recommend this place. Susan does a great job forming personal connections with each dog and family to be aware of the training needs.
