I’ve been part of the Pure Yoga community for about a decade now. I first joined when there was only one studio in Westboro, and later the Centretown location became my home studio when I lived just down the street. Life has changed since then and I no longer live close enough to walk over, but I still make the effort to come every week. That alone says a lot about what this place means to me. The studio is a beautiful, bright space filled with natural light, but what really makes it special is the people. The staff and members create such a welcoming and supportive environment that it truly feels like a community, not just a place to work out. The classes are thoughtfully designed so that anyone can participate, while still offering plenty of challenge if you want it. It really feels like a “choose your own adventure” practice. Over the years the offerings have evolved and expanded, and there’s genuinely something for everyone. Whether you want a strong, Pilates-style workout, a slow and grounding yin class, or something in between, you’ll find it here. No matter how I arrive at the studio, I always leave feeling lighter, clearer, and more energized. Pure Yoga has been a steady, positive presence in my life for many years, and I’m so grateful it’s here.

It’s been years since I have been to this studio but it was the first studio that hooked me to yoga, and for a whole year I called it my second home. It was gorgeous, clean as a spa, and all instructors were excellent. Now I’m a certified yoga teacher and have become so much more attached to yoga in the last 9 years. This studio was only the beginning of my journey. I think everyone should come here and try a class.

Pure Yoga has quickly become one of my favourite places to be. The room is always perfectly warm, creating an environment that feels both grounding and energizing the moment you step inside. Every class feels thoughtfully designed, and the overall atmosphere makes it easy to fully disconnect and be present. The teachers are truly phenomenal—experienced, knowledgeable, and incredibly attentive. No matter which instructor you take, you’re guided with confidence and care, and you always leave feeling like you’ve had a genuinely great workout. The instruction is clear, motivating, and empowering, making each class both challenging and rewarding. What I really appreciate is the variety of classes offered. Depending on your mood, you can choose to slow down and meditate, or turn up the energy and get a great pump while moving and even dancing. There’s something for everyone, and it keeps the practice feeling fresh and exciting. I also tried the yogassage for the first time and it was an amazing experience. It was deeply relaxing, restorative, and unlike anything I’d tried before. I would absolutely do it again and highly recommend it to anyone looking to enhance their yoga practice or treat themselves to something special.
