I’ve been playing guitar on and off for years and had tried a few teachers here and there, but nothing ever really clicked. Lessons felt formulaic, the teachers seemed bored, and honestly… so was I. It never felt like it was going anywhere. By last April, I was pretty much at my breaking point. My playing had plateaued, I wasn’t excited about guitar anymore, and being in a band started to feel like a chore instead of something fun. I was genuinely worried I might quit—and I knew I’d regret it. I was even subscribed to an online guitar platform, but I barely used it and couldn’t stay consistent. I knew I needed real guidance and someone to keep me motivated. Then I came across Bilgehan Tuncer’s website—and I couldn’t believe it. Not only was he nearby, but he had played with one of the most popular artists in Russia (where I’m from)! So I thought - even if it doesn't work out, I'll at least meet him, take a picture, and show it off to my friends and family… which I did 😄 What I didn’t expect was how incredible of a teacher he is. He notices details and nuances in my playing— hand positions, strumming, technique—that I would never catch on my own or through online lessons. From the moment a lesson starts, he’s fully present and focused. Sometimes I leave feeling exhausted and a little overwhelmed—but in the best possible way. For the first time in years, I can truly feel myself progressing. My confidence on stage has grown, I learn songs faster, and most importantly, I’m excited about playing again. That’s priceless to me. None of this would’ve been possible without Bilgehan’s genuine passion for teaching and helping his students grow. He really brings out the best in musicians of any level. I’m so glad I took this path and I’m really looking forward to continuing the journey.

In just a year and a half of lessons with Bilgehan, I’ve learned to play many songs on my own and truly enjoy playing guitar. Taking these classes feels like meditating/mental therapy after a long day of work; it’s incredibly relaxing and truly makes my day. Bilgehan is super professional with over 20 years of experience in teaching and patient, breaking down complicated steps into easy-to-follow parts, and is always responsive to my questions. Highly recommended!

I’ve been learning guitar for a year now, and as a beginner, under Bilgehan’s teaching and encouragement, I’ve developed a huge passion for the instrument. His lessons are always well-structured, focusing on both technique and musicality. For example, I started with basic chords and rhythm, and now I’m working on soloing and bends, which I never imagined I’d be able to do. Every lesson is both fun and rewarding, and Bilgehan is great at breaking down complex techniques into manageable steps. He’s an amazing teacher, and I always look forward to our sessions!

Bilgehan is such an amazing and patient teacher! I took classes for a little longer than a year for casual fun to try to be able to play some alt rock songs I love. He is amazing at teaching and changing his approach to each student’s goal. And his cat is adorable. I highly recommend him. 😊💜

Bil is such a great guitar instructor, I have too many positive feedback to note for this review. I've tried several different guitar instructors in the past, and I have to say Bil has been the best guitar instructor and musician. With nearly 1.5 years of guitar lessons with Bil, I only look forward to continuing to learn more and becoming a better guitarist. To summarize a few topics, I'll focus on: 1) Bil as an instructor and musician 2) Your goal and learning path 3) Practice & Patience 1) Bil is very knowledgeable and experienced both as a musician and instructor. I think there can be great musicians out there, but also being able to teach others is a whole another skill you need. Because of his experience with music and teaching others, he knows how to assess your current skills and tailor your lessons to help you improve as a guitarist. 2) Share your goals, and Bil will help you get there. I never thought I could play guitar live, on stage in front of 40+ people at church every Sunday (brain explosion emoji). Bil's lessons helped so much to improve my techniques, and most of all, to build my confidence to play better. If you're a beginner, or have experienced playing guitar in the past but just want to improve, Bil will provide the right resources and set the right direction for your learning path. And speaking of resources, Bil has all the proper materials for your lessons and music charts for you to run through any songs you propose - he's got it all and will help you achieve your goal. 3) Practice takes time and patience, but you'll notice your improvement! Follow Bil's guidance and learning path, dedicate time to practice and you'll notice your improvement. Overall, I'd highly recommend others to Bil if you want to learn playing the guitar or even to just become a better guitarist.
