I’ve been going to Stone Boxing for exactly one year now, and I can’t say enough good things about it. Coach Andy has built a community that’s genuinely supportive, coaches and members alike. I spent a long time trying to find something I could stick with, and at 40 years old, it feels amazing to finally find a place that I look forward to going to. Every class is a blend of all ages and experience levels, young, older, men, women, beginners, advanced, and I always feel welcome. 45min classes fly by, the workouts are actually fun, and I learn something new every single session. Huge shoutout to all the coaches for keeping the energy high and the technique solid. The gym is always spotless and well taken care of, which I really appreciate, especially with how hard everyone works in there. And the class schedule is super convenient, with so many times to choose from. Stone Boxing has been a total game changer! 10/10 recommend to anyone looking to get back in shape, stay consistent, or find a community that actually supports you.
Stone Boxing is great! I do privates with Andy and he’s an amazing coach! I’ve boxed on and off for the last few years and I’m glad I’ve found a place where I can see myself going to long-term. I love that he focuses a lot of form, lays a good foundation of the basics, and also challenges you as you progress. And he makes the sessions fun! What’s great is that his gym is for everyone, whether you’re a complete beginner to boxing, looking to box to increase your fitness and athleticism, or wanting to become a fighter. The gym environment itself is very spacious, kept clean, and very welcoming. I highly recommend!

I was very fortunate to find Stone Boxing and given the opportunity to train with Coach Andy. I've always been interested in boxing but never got around to proper training until now. 1 on 1 private lessons allowed me to feel comfortable learning. I find myself a slow learner but Coach Andy finds a way to teach you so that it makes sense to YOU. He adapts his training so that you will remember the different techniques and movements, while also encouraging different mindsets to help retain what you learn. Coach Andy is extremely patient and professional, you can tell he has had years of experience at all levels of boxing. What impressed me the most is how passionate he is to teach with positive energy. I feel every time I've come to the gym, his personality motivates you to want to do better and train harder. San Jose needed a boxing gym like this, it absolutely deserved one. I am excited to see it evolve over time and I highly recommend anyone that is thinking to dive into boxing whether for fitness or other goals to come pay a visit. There are only so many hours in a week and I find the hours I spend at Stone boxing are becoming to the most valuable for my both my physical and mental health.
