We went here for Christmas Eve dinner and opted for their special holiday menu. The restaurant had a great atmosphere and was understandably very busy for the occasion. Overall, the food was good, and the meat was definitely the highlight of the meal—perfectly cooked exactly how I requested and full of flavour. You can really tell that meat is their strong point and what they do best. Service was a bit on the slower side, but given that it was Christmas Eve and the restaurant was packed with a special menu running, it was completely understandable. Desserts were enjoyable, although the crème brûlée was slightly lacking in flavour compared to the rest of the meal. Still, the quality of the meat more than made up for it.
한국인들을 위한 리뷰: 절대 가지마세요 ^_^. It was for celebrating my birthday with my boyfriend. Sirloin steak that I got was tough and dry even though I ordered it as rare. I couldn’t even bit as it’s tough. I asked server to change it and while I was waiting for it, manager told me that the steak was perfect on their standard. He was not even standing beside our table, he was talking to me behind my boyfriend staring me. He said it’s perfectly cooked even though there was no juice coming out when I was having hard time to cut the steak. Server was kind but manager who handled this issue was very rude and not professional at all. No apology at all. Anyways I got a new plate with a new steak. Steak was okay, but new cutlery they gave me was dirty. wine glasses were not polished. I also had a carrot garnish that is randomly cut in half, with a piece of carrot skin. This place is not worth it at all.
Organized my mom’s surprise 65th birthday in the private room here. The experience was exceptional. The planning of the event went really well with Jessica - she answered all of my phone calls and emails. Mehdi, who was there on the day of the event was proactive, positive and communicative to iron out the final last minute details. The service was amazing - Yuna and Sophie did a great job. You can always tell you have a good server when they blend in the background and things are just happening: food is coming to table, water and wine glasses being filled, plates being cleared without having to ask for anything! We were a party of 31 people and everyone thought the food and experience was phenomenal: we had canapes (tiropita, Greek sausage, chicken skewers), filet mignon and a chocolate mousse for dessert. I will definitely organize an event here again 😊
The food is expensive, and the quality is just average. I ordered the Lobster Linguine, and it tasted really bad almost completely flavorless and there was barely any lobster in it. The escargot wasn’t very good either. Surprisingly, the simplest dish, the Caesar salad, was actually the best. The steak was decent overall, but still overpriced for what you get. Overall, I wasn’t impressed with the food I received. If you’re looking for good value for the price you pay, this place isn’t it. But if you just want to dine somewhere in Old Montreal for the atmosphere, then it might work for you. As for the service, the male server who took care of my table initially came by often to check if everything was okay. But after he saw my reaction while eating the pasta plus the almost untouched dish he never came back to ask about anything again. I guess he wanted to avoid hearing feedback about that pasta dish. Pretty funny, honestly.
Found this restaurant on Google. It’s located right in the main tourist area, making it easy to find while exploring the city. The place is well maintained, clean, and has a nice, luxurious feel. We ordered steaks, lamb steaks, and lobster. The steaks were excellent, but the lobster truly stole the show — it was so delicious that we even thought about ordering more! The fresh juice wasn’t great, but all the food was otherwise excellent. The average price for a meal starts around $35, which is definitely worth it for the quality and taste. Highly recommended, especially for the lobster. Thank you to the team for the wonderful experience — much appreciated!
