Andrew and Tierney are great personal trainers. 5+ My wife and I see them weekly. We have done so for close to 3 years now. They are great because they motivate us to show up regularly and to constantly work to improve our level of strength - full body strength not just the showy bits. It is important to me personally in all this time that I have never been made to feel inadequate for what i could or could not lift or pull etc. As long as I tried my hardest! Yes, another testimonial... but this one is genuinely well earned and deserved. Andrew hasn't asked me to chime-in with these comments - I do so because of the high level of my satisfaction with his services. Andrew has been coaching me once a week, like clockwork for the past 3 months. He's always punctual and ready to go for my early morning sessions. Over the past 25 years (I'm in my early sixties now) I've tried many ways to regain the fitness levels of my triathlon and marathon running days, Gym memberships with coaches, spin classes, special diets, etc, etc, and for whatever reasons, (mostly my lack of discipline I figure), I never lasted or succeeded. After each such attempt, I'd regain even more weight than I had started with. For a number of good reasons, this time it's different. Is it Andrew's laser focus on my progress, his attention to each of my movements on the machines, his deep understanding of the physiology behind every type of exercise - I'm not sure, but it's working! He's not your traditional trainer. It drives me nuts, for instance, when he won't tell me how many reps I have to do when I sit on one of his Nautilus machines. While closely monitoring my movements, he wants to see how far I can go, with the view that you benefit most when you reach your maximum weight effort. It's tough, and I often curse him (I do!) but it's working! Combined with a healthier intake of food (mostly fruits and vegetables now), over the past 90 days, my feeling of well being has improved by leaps and bounds, and it's only going to get better! I look forward to getting to the fitness level I want to achieve, and I know Andrew will get me there. Thanks coach.
