I’ve had a great experience with Wild Fig Functional Medicine. Sarah is thoughtful, thorough, and never makes appointments feel rushed. She actually listens, asks good questions, and works to get to the root of what’s going on instead of just treating symptoms. Her approach is holistic but still very evidence-based, and she explains things clearly so you understand the “why” behind the plan. I’ve felt supported every step of the way and would absolutely recommend Wild Fig to anyone looking for more personalized care.

I’ve had an incredible experience working with Sarah. She took the time to truly listen to my goals and concerns, and her recommendations were thoughtful, informed, and easy to understand. One thing I especially appreciated is her ability to meet people exactly where they are—whether you’re brand-new to functional medicine with no idea where to start, or you’ve already done your own research and want a more collaborative approach. I was someone who wanted a more collaborative approach and got that. She helped me implement changes step by step and adjusted the plan as different results came in. Her timely follow-ups and continued support made all the difference. I’m so grateful for the care I received and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a functional medicine provider who genuinely cares.

I have had a great experience working with Sarah Carson. She is very knowledgable, has created a personal plan for me and my health journey, listens to my concerns and takes the time to explain things to me. Her office is also very nice and centrally located. I would highly recommend working with Sarah for anyone looking into functional health!

I can't speak to the medical side but I had a weirdish experience. They asked before even scheduling a "discovery call" if I was willing to spend at least $2600. I said I found the question alarming from a perspective of not ovetreating, and wanted an explanation if I was going to continue. During the call, Sarah was non defensive in explaining it as just a heads up about what costs can be, which I found reassuring, and at the end she said I could schedule if I wanted to. Months later when I requested an appointment, they first sent intake paperwork but then sent a message saying that they don't treat my condition. I wrote back rather confused and said I'd been open about my condition in the discovery call but had said I wanted help with related gut and hormone questions, and had been told I could schedule. Sarah then replied and referenced my mistrustful reaction to being asked if I would spend $2600 as a reason we would not be a good fit. I can understand if they didn't see me as a good fit and at this point I don't even disagree, I just wish the communication could have been clearer and more consistent.

I can't say enough great things about Sarah. I have worked with a couple functional providers but when I found Sarah a few years ago I haven't looked back. She listens and provides invaluable insights. She believes in getting to the root cause of things and the path she takes to get there is balanced and realistic. She is a rarity in the healthcare world.

I started working with Sarah a few months ago after spending a year with another functional doctor and not getting anywhere. I have come so far in a short time with her. Sarah has a wealth of knowledge and I would recommend her to anyone that wants real answers and to stop playing the guessing game!
