I’ve been attending Mark Z.’s 5:30p Monday classes for years. Mark is one of my all-time favorite yoga instructors. His classes are challenging vinyasa style speckled with hilarity that has occasionally had me rolling on the floor with laughter. Fortunately, the Yoga Tree has a cork floor for softer landings. Great space!

Back & Joints gentle flow with Ilan Golick is one of the best yoga qigong classes I’ve taken! Hit the spot, just what my body needed. Yoga Qi with Jason is also a great experience for mind body soul 🩷The yoga tree is a pleasant studio to practice in I encourage you to explore the variety of classes🙏

Yoga Tree promotes community as part of its mission, and I feel it every time I'm there. All are welcome: novice, experienced, young, those not as young, and all in between. I love that both my mind and body feel benefit of classes. Variety of teachers who make me physically stronger and flexible, and who inspire me to take and "be" my yoga off the mat. I was so happy to have found the Tree when I moved here 2.5 years ago, and continue to feel the same.

There are many good yoga studios in Boise, but Yoga Tree is my absolute favorite because of the people and the atmosphere of acceptance they create. It doesn't matter if you're a beginner or an experienced yogi, you will feel comfortable yet challenged in every class. It is a close, friendly, completely non-judgmental atmosphere. Your age, your ability, your knowledge of yoga, none of it matters. You don't even have to have the latest yoga fashions (though they are adding some pretty cute things to a small retail area!). The occasional workshops featuring meditation, chanting, even ecstatic dance are so much fun, even if you're not sure about these things. Yoga Tree provides the perfect atmosphere to learn. If I had to sum up all the reasons I love this studio, I would say it's because the teachers, the space, and the experience are GENUINE.
