Brought my pc to him after it was damaged due to an incorrectly plugged in PSU. Asked him to fix the problem that the PC wouldn't boot, and the operating system was deleted. He took the drives out and transferred the data from one to another. Then installed windows on the now empty drive and reinstalled both in the pc. I left the PC at his house for approximately 28 hours. Upon rebooting, the PC only took 10 minutes to return back to the original state it was in (ie. no operating system, wouldn't boot). In essence, I paid nearly $100 to be back to square one. Now, had I needed the drive to have he data swapped and then have windows installed, $100 wouldn't be a bad price For the work he did, and what it was priced at, he gets 3 stars. The quality of his work in that regard is good. But in the time it took him to complete the job, I had hoped he'd have run diagnostics on the computer (plugging a control hard drive into my desktop, running a check on the motherboard, ram, etc to see if the PC sustained any damage. All of this could have been done during the time it took to install windows on the drive. Once I realize he had done none of that, I paid and took my computer back. I solved the problem myself. The computer needed a new SATA power cable (PSU was modular). It took all of an hour. If you need a simple fix, this is the place for it. Otherwise, there may be better solutions.

Ron did a great job with transferring my PC to my newer tower, got it done in like a day and a half or so? Did an absolutely professional job, and was real easy to work with. I can also safely say he's deserving of your trust, considering my PC is worth well over $1,000 and everything that was inside when he got it was still inside when I got it back.

I called on a Monday and Ron was able to give me an appointment for the next day. He was right on time and was very patient with me, I don’t know much if anything about computers. Ron was able to have the computer up and running in less than an hour. I would call him again if I get in trouble again. He fee was very reasonable. Thanks Ron.
