I had a display cabinet delivered to my house today and when this was arranged I forgot about the road works taking place in my street today. I spoke to the road workers and was told that the truck could come down but when the boys arrived they were not allowed enter the street. Imagine my surprise when they arrived at my door after carrying the cabinet down from the corner!! They were amazing and so refreshing to experience such service. The young man at the Kotara store who sold me the cabinet was also extremely helpful and very polite. Thanks Early Settler for this faith restoring experience.

If o could give no stars, I would. Absolutely appalling experience with Early Settler. I was never advised at the time of purchase that the items would be delayed by months. Not weeks — months. Had we been told upfront, I never would have gone ahead with the purchase. What makes it worse is the complete lack of communication. No updates, no courtesy calls, no emails — nothing. I’ve had to chase them. They are having “stock issues” or “computer problems,” which is frankly unacceptable. Taking customers’ money upfront and then leaving them completely in the dark shows a total disregard for customer service. Delays can happen — that’s understandable — but failing to communicate honestly and proactively is not. It feels like once they have your money, they simply don’t care. Would not recommend. Shop elsewhere if you value transparency and basic customer service.

Very unhelpful! Why have a chair for sale in store when you can't sell the floor stock and the wait is around 14-15 weeks for more stock to come in? Equally as unhelpful when my daughter went in to get beside tables and they didn't have any. Was then quoted some hideous price to ship them regionally.
