I had a very disappointing experience with Freedom Furniture Kotara and would not recommend shopping here. The wrong product was delivered, and instead of taking responsibility, the store refused to accept accountability or offer a reasonable solution. When I contacted the store to resolve the issue, the male staff member who was part of "management team" was rude, dismissive, and unhelpful. Rather than listening or trying to fix their mistake, the problem was put back on me. The lack of customer service and basic courtesy was shocking. Mistakes happen, but how a business handles them matters—and this rude individual handled this extremely poorly. Between the incorrect delivery, lack of accountability, and unpleasant staff attitude, this was a frustrating and stressful experience. I strongly recommend that nobody shop at Freedom Furniture Kotara if they value their time, money, or customer service. Further to my review, I've since found out from multiple sources that Rose is well known for being very rude to customers. Management has an accountability to coach and manage staff to ensure quality service and skills. Maybe Freedom need to look into the quality of management also.

Lisa and Penny at Freedom Kotara provided great and fast assistance. They went above and upon to help me with my purchase. Absolutely wonderful service particularly during the busy Christmas period.

My experience at Freedom Kotara was incredibly disappointing, and the service I received from Rose was the lowest point. Her attitude was dismissive, uninterested, and borderline rude. At no point did I feel acknowledged, respected, or even treated as a customer worth basic courtesy. Instead of offering help, she acted as though any question was a burden and any interaction was too much effort. The complete lack of professionalism was shocking, and it created an uncomfortable, unpleasant environment that absolutely should not be happening in retail. This experience was bad enough that I won’t be returning, and I certainly wouldn’t recommend this store to anyone based on the way I was treated. Customers deserve better than this.

We have had such a great experience at Freedom Furniture Kotara. I first spoke with Jen, who was absolutely lovely and took the time to walk me through all the pieces I’d been looking at online. She was patient, friendly and really helpful. Jen suggested we chat with Suzy from the interior design service, and I’m so glad we did. Suzy was fantastic – professional, creative and full of great ideas that helped us choose exactly what we needed. She made the whole process so easy and enjoyable. From start to finish we felt really well looked after and genuinely valued as customers. We’re extremely happy with the service and will definitely be back for our next furniture pieces. Highly recommend!

Outstanding Service from Paarul at Freedom ! I recently had the pleasure of meeting Paarul at Freedom Kotara, and I can’t recommend her highly enough. She spent over an hour with me helping to coordinate new cushions for my lounge — and the result is absolutely perfect! Paarul was incredibly professional, patient, and knowledgeable, guiding me through colour options, fabrics, and combinations I never would have thought of on my own. What really impressed me was that this is a free design service offered to customers — something not many people seem to know about. It honestly saved me hours of trawling through different shops trying to find the right look. If you’re thinking about updating your space, I highly recommend visiting Freedom at Kotara and asking for Paarul. She made the whole experience enjoyable, effortless, and inspiring.
