Super fun place to work out!! Paisley, Jonathan, and Dallas are my favorite instructors, but I’ve had really great experiences with all of them. Their spin classes are obviously amazing but they have some good Pilates/yoga classes too which are fun to mix it up. Would def recommend, nice people and supportive atmosphere all around no matter your fitness level.
I was surprised that they had an amazing smoothie and acai cafe attached to this fitness studio (spin classes, trx cable workouts, hot yoga, etc.). Very clean and well maintained for the cafe and fitness studio.
I love Ride! I’ve been coming for about a year & a half now. Truly a wonderful studio with fabulous staff & teachers. Spinning at Ride has become my favorite part of my week. Keep up the excellent work!
As a long time fan of indoor cycling, this studio has something so special. I had the pleasure of experiencing Ride Oakland and taking Jessica’s class this past Saturday and I was so moved by every aspect of my time there. From being greeted warmly by front desk staff, to looking through the beautiful space/studio rooms, and to the end of the 45 min class - I felt like I had stepped into a sanctuary where I had so much opportunity to revitalize through movement and connection. Jessica’s class involved so much fun, yet challenging choreography combinations that allowed for both fun play and physical strength to take place. I entered a flow state of mind and was not even conscious of the time passing. Her teachings throughout the class of ‘reveling in yourself’ made me realize how much more than a workout this place offers. It truly feels like self-care in every aspect. So happy to have come across this studio. I will definitely be coming back!
Ride Oakland has created a wonderful community where everyone feels welcome. The cycling instructors have different styles and personalities. What they share in common is they encourage everyone to push themselves according to their own personal capacity. I've had awesome sweat drenched workouts with Luci, Jamie, Chrissy and Dallas. No judging. But they also don't let you skate. I joined for the cycling but later began attending the amazing stretching classes with Valerie, Jess and Stephanie. Kerry filled in once and she was great also. I always leave feeling so much lighter. My one regret is it took me so long to discover them when I live so close!
