HYN feels like home. Both teachers and students are friendly and encouraging. Going to a fitness studio alone can feel daunting, but this studio is different. You'll never feel alone here. After a few classes I've met some of my now best friends and learned almost everyone's name. I love hanging out by the flowater machine and chatting with everyone about how great they did in class. It's so wonderful to have this supportive environment, and I feel very lucky to be part of this community.
As a former yoga instructor who for decades has practiced at studios across the country… Hot Yoga Nashville is the by far the most welcoming studio I have ever experienced. Emily has lovingly created such a safe and nurturing space for all of us to practice and support each other. We laugh, cheer each other on, and sweat together in a community that is my happy place. Living in Franklin, there are other studios closer, yet none compare to the love and joy I have received since day one. It’s why I signed up as a yearly member after my first class. Thank you Emily and our team for such a supportive and fun studio!!!
So hot yoga nashville is trying to say that my review is false when it isn’t. Because Emily said a racial slur in front of multiple people and my friend is spreading awareness, they are trying to act like the incident didn’t happen. In no space where a business owner is comfortable saying a racial slur in a room with multiple people, is a safe space for people of color. This is a perfect example of how they want to only protect themselves. Once again, do NOT recommend this studio.
Do NOT recommend this studio if you are a person of color. I witnessed the staff take absolutely no accountability after a racial slur was said loudly enough for the entire class to hear. Instead of addressing the harm caused, EMILY told my friend—who calmly voiced that she no longer felt safe—that she was “no longer welcome” at the studio. Punishing someone for speaking up about racism is unacceptable. Emily’s response made it very clear about who is protected at this studio. If you truly value inclusivity and basic respect, I recommend choosing a different studio.
Absolutely fantastic. Such a wonderfully welcoming studio. I was looking for a more traditional hot yoga class to take while visiting Nashville for work. The space is clean, spacious, and inviting for all levels. There are mat/towel rentals and showers available should you need them. Thank you for having me!
