Sanctuary for Yoga in the best yoga studio in Nashville. The teachers, led by Daphne the owner, are knowledgeable, approachable, friendly and care about the students. There are classes for all levels and they excel at creating a community where you are seen and valued. My experience was so positive I decided I wanted to know more about yoga and deepen my understanding that signed up for Teacher Training 200hr with Daphne and Page. The experience was phenomenal and life changing.
I am a beginner yoga student but have been taking classes for over six months now in many different places and many different cities. I don’t know what it is but Durden‘s classes at Sanctuary Yoga are so different than any classes I have ever taken. It must be the combination of the beautiful music she plays, her gentle voice that leads, and most importantly the moves she picks that seem to flow so perfectly together. Every class feels so magical, and somehow takes me far away from my problems and worries. You need to experience her classes for yourself. I promise you will feel the magic too!
This studio is fantastic. All the classes I have taken here have been great in their own way. Just took a vinyasa flow class with Daphne- and it was perfectly balanced flow - added bonus of great music. Highly recommend trying this studio if you haven’t
Sanctuary is so warm and welcoming! The new location off of White Bridge is so lovely, always clean and comfortable. There are many class styles so I always have a variety of options to choose from depending on how my body and spirit are feeling. Daphne, the owner, is so kind and leads incredible classes. I've tried other studios in Nashville but nothing compares to Sanctuary - it feels like home.
